Are you ready to get in the holiday spirit right here in Manayunk? Come and join us at Canal View Park (4418 Main Street) from 5:30-7:00 PM for our Annual Manayunk Tree Lighting Ceremony! The celebration has so much to offer with live music performances, fun and festive winter activities and the big man himself!

Who will be performing at the event? We will start off at 5:30 with the exciting City Belles, an all-female presenting a capella group from Saint Joseph’s University. They are returning to the event after being a big hit previously and we can’t wait for them to show Manayunk what they’ve got. Coming up next will be Maggie Mae, a Philly-based musician who specializes in folk, soul, and rock'n'roll. Originally from North Jersey, Mae has done many live shows at premiere spots around Philly and New Jersey and we are excited to have her here in Manayunk. Last but not least, we have a local band, Koser. Led by singer, Kara Koser, the band has been featured on TV segments, live festivals and now, the Manayunk Tree Lighting Ceremony!

Looking for festive family fun? The night will also bring tons of festive family fun as kids will be able to write letters to Santa, create some jolly crafts, and meet & greet Santa himself! We also heard that there might be some snow…so dress warm, and get ready for a Manayunk winter wonderland!

In addition to the tree lighting, Main Street Manayunk will be lit up for the 4th Annual Manayunk Gets LIT! Competition between 50+ businesses in the district. We invite you to come and admire the lights that will be twinkling up and down Main Street. Pay close attention, because we’ll need your help deciding who should win Most LIT!, Best Overall, and Most Creative.
