While shopping and dining around town, get in the holiday spirit by joining us at one of our many holiday events and take a tour of our wonderful holiday light displays on our FREE Jolly Trolley rides Thursday nights in December. Manayunk lights up for the holidays on November 17 with our annual tree lighting ceremony! Join us at Canal View Park (4418 Main Street) from 5:30-7:00PM where we'll host special guests and live performances by The City Belles, Maggie Mae, Brendan & Katie of Stella Ruze, Emily Drinker, and more. The big man himself just might make an appearance!
The tree lighting ceremony also marks the official launch of the 3rd annual "Manayunk Gets LIT!" decorating event between 50+ businesses in the district.
Shop small and shop local at over 50 small businesses to find something for everyone on your list as the neighborhood kicks off the holidays season with Small Business Saturday on November 26!
In partnership with North Light Community Center, the Manayunk Development Corporation is helping local families in need this holiday season. Stop by 4312 Main Street to pick a gift item off of the holiday tree to donate to a North Light family. Donation drop offs will take place between November 27-December 17, Monday-Friday from 9AM to 5PM.

Bring the family to Main Street every Thursday in December from 5-9PM for Holiday Light Nights! This weekly event brings food and drink deals, shopping specials, and festive live entertainment. Too cold to walk? The Jolly Trolley will run up and down Main Street making several stops at your favorite businesses!
It's time for our annual pet photos with Santa, sponsored by Latitudes & Longitudes! Bring your furry friends to the Pet Friendly Dog Bakery on Sunday, December 4 to get a photo of them with the man in red. The event will take place from 11AM - 5PM. No appointment needed!
Dress in your holiday best for the 8th Annual Rudolph Run on Saturday, December 10! Join Philadelphia Runner for a fun 3-mile run starting at 9AM.
Every Thursday in December from 5-9 p.m. visitors can ride the Jolly Trolley during Holiday Light Nights! Not only will Holiday Light Nights bring food/drink deals, shopping specials, and festive live entertainment, but the Jolly Trolley will provide a magical way to take in Main Street’s holiday lights!
There are over 700 spaces are available in parking lots conveniently located throughout the commercial district. In addition, revenue generated in many Manayunk parking lots is used for street maintenance, anti-graffiti programs, landscape, and greening projects, watershed education, and ongoing development projects. Yes, your parking dollars help keep our neighborhood beautiful!
