The season is upon us and there is no better place to celebrate than Main Street in Manayunk! With more than 150 small locally-owned businesses, you’re surely find something for everyone on your list. While shopping and dining around town, get in the holiday spirit by joining us at one of our many holiday events and take a tour of our wonderful holiday light displays on our FREE Jolly Trolley rides Thursday nights in December. Manayunk lights up for the holidays on November 18 with our annual tree lighting ceremony! Join us at Canal View Park (4416 Main Street) at 6:30PM where we'll host live performances from local artists and appearances from local politicians. You won't want to miss it - the big man himself just might make an appearance!
The tree lighting ceremony also marks the official launch of the 2nd annual "Manayunk Gets LIT!" decorating contest between 50+ businesses in the district.
Shop small and shop local at over 50 small businesses to find something for everyone on your list as the neighborhood kicks off the holidays season with Small Business Saturday on November 27!

Featuring FREE Jolly Trolley rides!
Bring the family to Main Street every Thursday in December from 5-9PM for Holiday Light Nights! This new weekly event brings food and drink deals, shopping specials, and festive live entertainment. Too cold to walk? The Jolly Trolley will run up and down Main Street making several stops at your favorite businesses! Park for free and hop on at 3729 Main Street (at the movie theater).
It's time for our annual pet photos with Santa, sponsored by Latitdues & Longitudes! Bring your furry friends to the Pet Friendly Dog Bakery on Sunday, December 5 from 10AM-4PM to get a photo of them with the man in red. A recommended $10 donation will go to ACCT Philly, but bring extra cash as there will be raffle prizes from local businesses!

Dress in your holiday best for the 7th Annual Rudolph Run on Saturday, December 11! Join Philadelphia Runner for a fun 3-mile run along the Manayunk Canal starting at 9AM. Check in for the run will be at the shop on Main Street starting at 8:30AM.
To help spread some holiday cheer to those in need, they'll be collecting canned goods and other necessities for North Light Community Center as donations/entry fee. Donation drop-off will be during runner check in.
In partnership with North Light Community Center, the Manayunk Development Corporation is helping local families in need this holiday season. Stop by 4312 Main Street to pick a gift item off of the holiday tree to donate to a North Light family. Donation drop offs will take place between November 27-December 17, Monday-Friday from 9AM-5PM.
There are over 700 spaces are available in parking lots conveniently located throughout the commercial district. In addition, revenue generated in many Manayunk parking lots is used for street maintenance, anti-graffiti programs, landscape and greening projects, watershed education and ongoing development projects. Yes, your parking dollars help keep our neighborhood beautiful!
