About Holidays In Manayunk
The season is upon us and there is no better place to celebrate than Main Street in Manayunk! With more than 50 small locally-owned businesses, you’re surely find something for everyone on your list. While shopping and dining around town, get in the holiday spirit by joining us at one of our many holiday events and take a tour of our wonderful holiday light displays on our FREE Jolly Trolley rides Thursday, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout the season. Calendar of Events
Manayunk lights up for the holidays on November 16 with our annual tree-lighting ceremony! Join us at Canal View Park (4418 Main Street) from 5:30-7:00 PM where we'll host special guests and live performances by The City Belles, Maggie Mae, Koser, Elsa, and Santa.
The night will bring tons of festive family fun as guests will be able to write letters to Santa and meet & greet the big man himself! We also heard that there might be some snow…so get ready for a Manayunk winter wonderland!
November 16 also marks the official launch of the 4th annual Manayunk Gets LIT decorating competition between 50+ businesses in the district.

Manayunk Gets LIT Competition officially launches on November 16 when Main Street lights up with more than eighty thousand lights!
Manayunk businesses are decking their storefronts, windows, roofs, and more, and we'll need your help deciding who should win Most Creative, Most LIT and Best Overall. Voting will run November 16 through December 14.
All voters will be entered for their chance to win a $200 MNYK Shopping Spree!

Bring the family to Main Street all season long for Get LIT weekends which will feature food and drink deals, shopping specials, festive live entertainment, and the FREE Jolly Trolley.
The Jolly Trolley will run up and down Main Street making several stops at your favorite businesses! Plus, it's the best way to take in all the twinkling lights.

It's time for our annual pet photos with Santa! Bring your furry friends to the Pet Friendly Dog Bakery on Saturday, December 2 to get a photo of them with the man in red. The event will take place from 11AM - 5PM. There will also be a vendor shopping event in the Pet Friendly yard from 11AM-3PM.
Dress in your holiday best for the 9th Annual Rudolph Run on Saturday, December 9! Join Philadelphia Runner for a fun 3-mile fun run along the Manayunk Canal starting at 9AM. Check in for the run will be at our shop on Main Street starting at 8:30AM. Holiday attire is encouraged!!!

In partnership with North Light Community Center, the Manayunk Development Corporation is helping local families in need this holiday season. Stop by 4312 Main Street to pick a gift item off of the holiday tree to donate to a North Light family.

Visitors Information
There are over 700 spaces are available in parking lots conveniently located throughout the commercial district. In addition, revenue generated in many Manayunk parking lots is used for street maintenance, anti-graffiti programs, landscape, and greening projects, watershed education, and ongoing development projects. Yes, your parking dollars help keep our neighborhood beautiful!
