What is the Manayunk Arts Festival?

The Manayunk Arts Festival is back and celebrating its 32nd year! The Manayunk Arts Festival is the tri-state’s largest outdoor, juried arts festival! This year, there will be nearly 100 artists in a number of locations in Manayunk presenting the best variety of fine arts and crafts from across the country. It is a rain or shine event, so come dressed according to the weather and make sure you stay hydrated!

When and where is it happening?

The festival begins on Saturday, June 26th from 11 AM - 7 PM and continues on Sunday, June 27th from 11 AM - 6 PM.

This year, we’re shaking things up! Instead of being a closed street event, for this Arts Festival, artists will be located in lots along Main Street. Be sure to look for artists outside of Mad River off of Shurs Lane, along Lock Street, at two lots out front of RichardsApex, next to Riverside Pizza across the street from RichardsApex, and at the Levering Lot. You can find our Emerging Artists at the Venice Island lot off of Lock Street and one of our sponsors, Xfinity, at Canal View Park.

What types of artists will be at the festival this year?

The 2021 artists and vendors feature seven different disciplines: Fiber, Glass & Ceramics, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Painting & Drawing, Photography, and Wood & Sculpture. We are excited to host Emerging Artists again this year. They look for these budding artists at the Venice Island parking lot off of Lock Street. Where should I look if I'm trying to find a particular artist's booth?

To make it easy for you to find a certain artist, we have a festival map that shows where all artists are located throughout the entire weekend!

Do artists accept credit card payments? Where are the nearest ATMs?

Some artists do accept credit card payments, while others only accept cash. There are a few different ATMs that are easily accessible in Manayunk, located at the following places:

• Chloe’s Corner (4162 Main Street)
• Palm Tree Market (115 Levering Street)
• Salon L (4120 Main Street)

How do I get to Manayunk?

There are many ways to get here, but it’s up to you to decide which works best.

• Driving: There are two exits off of I-76 that take you into Manayunk: Exit 338 (Belmont Ave/Green Lane) and Exit 340A (Lincoln Drive/Kelly Drive). We recommend parking at the Green Lane lot (located on Green Lane between Main Street and Cresson Street) or parking at either the Wissahickon or Ivy Ridge Station and taking the train to the Manayunk stop.
• Trolley: A trolley will be available on Saturday from 11:30AM-7:30PM and on Sunday from 11:30AM-6:30PM. Pickup is at 3748 Main Street (next to the movie theater). Download the riders' map here!
• Public Transportation: Don’t feel like driving? You can ride SEPTA right into Manayunk! For schedules and fare rates, contact SEPTA at (215) 580-7800 or on the web at www.septa.org for more information. Choose any of these three lines:

• SEPTA Regional Rail - Manayunk/Norristown Line
• SEPTA Bus Route 35 - Manayunk/Roxborough Loop
• SEPTA Bus Route 61 - 9th & Market/Manayunk

• Taxis, Ubers, and Lyfts: Call a taxi or download the Uber app or Lyft app to get a ride into Manayunk!

• Trail Directions: Stay active and eco-friendly by biking to the Manayunk Arts Festival! Take Kelly Drive from Center City or the Schuykill River Trail from all parts of the Philadelphia region, or visit the Bike Coalition of Greater Philadelphia for more details and biking maps.

There will be public restrooms located at Lock Street and Cotton Street.
