MANAYUNK

Lots of visitors have been making their way to Manayunk — trying out all of the shops and services we have to offer. Is it the fairytale nail salons, the Mexican meals, or the entertaining events? We spoke to Nicole to find out what keeps her coming back to Manayunk for more.

Are you from Manayunk? If not, what brings you here?

No, but my roommate works in Manayunk and she always tells me to come out here because of how nice it is. I came to get my nails done.

Do you agree with your roommate?

Definitely, it's really cute out here and there are a lot of options for food, which I love. Plus, it's a good way to get out of the city but not be in the middle of nowhere.

Have you heard of our events?

Yes, she told me about a food truck festival [STReat] but I already missed it. I wanna come out in the spring though and try it then. She told me about the Harvest Festival that just passed too.

Do you have any places you recommend so far?

I think Cinderella Nails is good. I just got my nails done there and they do a good job and the shop is nice. My friends and I went to Taqueria Feliz a few weeks ago for Restaurant Week, and that was really good too; I'd do it again.

What do you like about Manayunk so far?

All of the options are great. It was hard to choose where to get my nails done just like it was hard for us to choose a place for restaurant week. We wanted to try it all, and I liked that it's full of different places but not crowded and busy like the city.

Why do you love Manayunk?

It's cute and I think I will love it the more I keep coming back. I'll definitely love it when the food truck festival comes back, I know that for sure.
