What better way to find out the ins and outs of Manayunk than from the people themselves? It’s another week where we hit the streets for Why I Love Manayunk, to ask Manayunk visitors and residents why they love where they live, shop, dine, and play.

This week we talked to Pat, who is an East Falls resident who visits Manayunk very frequently. Find out his favorite things to do in Manayunk and why Manayunk keeps him coming back!

Do you live in Manayunk?

I actually live in East Falls. I come to Manayunk pretty frequently.

Being that you don't live in Manayunk, what draws you here?

The night life and the dog park. My dog and I love it here at the Pretzel Park.

What is your favorite spot to go out with your friends?

We go to Lucky's Last Chance a lot. They have great food and its always a good time.

Favorite food place?

I love brunch at Greg's Kitchen.

Have you been to any MDC events?

Yes I've actually been to a lot. Stroll the Street about a month ago, the Arts Festival this summer and many more. I always have a great time going to those type of events here.

Why do you love Manayunk?

I love the community aspect around here and everyone is very friendly. I like the sort of Center City feel of Manayunk without actually being downtown.
