MANAYUNK

What happens when you bring all award-winning entrepreneurs, business owners, and workers of Manayunk together for a cocktail party? An absolute bash! The night was replete with ton of fun, food, music, and of course, cocktails. Doors opened at 6 p.m., and the crowd rushed in for their red carpet interviews (which will be uploaded online soon)! Other guests and residents were also able to join the fun with a purchase of a ticket.

The night kicked off with the red carpet interviews in which the owners discussed their business and why they chose Manayunk as a home for their ventures. The most common answer for picking Manayunk: the people. No surprise there! Guests then made their way to the ballroom to receive their awards and break it down on the dance floor with DJ Joe Broscoe of Philly Star Events.

Let's talk about the food. Bourbon Blue's banana foster, Taqueria Feliz's award-winning Ensenada style fish tacos, the Couch Tomato's tomato bisque, the Goat's Beard's Steak and Mac n' Cheese, and many other signature dishes provided by the restaurant owners were all served throughout the night. We think it's safe to say that nobody left hungry-- if there's one thing we know how to do right in Manayunk, it's food!

Overall, the night was a blast. With great people, awesome music, and delicious food, the Best of Manayunk had an amazing turnout! Thank you to all business owners and guests who came to celebrate our dedicated entrepreneurs who make this community so great!
