KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: Cocktail Week 2016

Manayunk Cocktail Week will be taking place Monday, November 7th through Sunday, November 13th. If you appreciate a good, specialty crafted cocktail, then you won’t want to miss this week-long event. No matter what your drink of choice, there’s an exciting variety ready for you this week!

Monday, November 7th

On Monday night, Lucky’s Last Chance will have a cocktail and dessert pairing for a sweet way to kick off the week. You’ll want to get your tickets ahead of time at Lucky’s. Monday is also Martini Night at Bourbon Blue, where they'll be adding a fresh twist to variety of vodka options. Manayunk Tavern will be rolling out a specialty sangria, and The Goat’s Beard will be featuring their own exclusive cocktail.

Tuesday, November 8th

On Tuesday, Bourbon Blue will be hosting their Pig & Whiskey Dinner— a can't-miss three-course meal! This event will be hosted by the North American Whiskey Ambassador, Sam Beedle, at $40 per person during presale or $50 at the door. Head to Lucky's Last Chance for Tuesday Tappings Booze & Brews Featuring Bell's Brewery, featuring cocktails like Best Brown Ale/Kraken Rum "Beer Flip." From 8pm-10pm, Mad River will have complimentary tastings and giveaways during Quizzo. And don't forget that the Manayunk Tavern and The Goat’s Beard will have specialty cocktails to sum up this Tuesday night!

Wednesday, November 9th

Wednesday night brings Bayou Rum's Main Street Stroll from 6pm-10pm. Hosted by Bayou Rum ambassador, Kim Heinsinger, and a judging panel, our local bars will be showing off their carefully crafted rum cocktails, competition-style. You won’t want to miss this exciting cocktail week event, so get your tickets here. Don’t forget to check out Bourbon Blue, Craft Manayunk, Manayunk Tavern, The Goat’s Beard, and The Nickels Building for more specials.

Thursday, November 10th

Things definitely aren’t slowing down on Thursday. Visit Manayunk Brewery for their Craft Rum & Beer Cocktail Party at 6:30pm. This event is hosted by Bayou Rum brand ambassador, Tommy Mauriello, and will feature a special aged beer release for guests only. The best part? Fifty percent of the ticket prices go to an amazing cause, the Louisiana Flood Relief Organization. To reserve your space, visit the Manayunk Brewery website.

The Goat's Beard presents The 2nd Annual Fried Chicken, Whiskey, Beer & Cheese Dinner this Thursday evening at 6pm. Smokin’ John’s BBQ will also be hosting a whiskey event, Whiskey & Wings Shindig from 7pm-9pm. Don’t sit home Thursday with events like these! Other bars and restaurants with cocktail specialties and happy hours this Thursday include Lucky’s Last Chance, The Nickels Building, Manyaunk Tavern, and Craft Manayunk.

Friday, November 11th

Friday kicks off the weekend for Cocktail Week, so Main Street will be loaded with options for your cocktail cravings. First, The Goat’s Beard is the place for beer releases, because from 4pm until closing time, they will be hosting the 6 Mile Ride Belgian IPA Release. For the bibliophile with an old soul, The Spiral Bookcase will be hosting Get Lit - The Lost Generation's Stories, Music, and Drinks from 6pm-9pm. Cactus Cantina will be catering to wine lovers with their happy hour from 5pm-6pm, featuring complimentary wine samples. Bottle sales aid donations in fighting hunger. Lucky’s Last Chance, The Nickels Building, and Manayunk Tavern have offerings this Friday as well!

Saturday, November 12th

Saturday will be a brunch-lover’s dream! Lucky's Last Chance presents Tin Cup Whiskey Brunch Cocktail Pairing, and a specialty cocktail in the evening as well. Zesty’s will offer a brunch cocktail and so will Manayunk Tavern. If you can’t make it to brunch, consider heading to The Nickels Building from 2pm-5pm for their Bee's Knees Happy Hour featuring Hendrick’s Gin, or The Goat’s Beard for their Ginger Snap Fig Sangria!

Sunday, November 13th

Cocktail Week finishes up by Sunday evening, but the brunch bash continues throughout the day. Make your way to Lucky’s Last Chance on Sunday morning for their Tullamore Dew Irish Coffee, and start your day with a kick. Bourbon Blue has a Boozy Brunch complete with a more-than-impressive Bloody Mary bar and mimosa flights. Both Zesty’s and Manayunk Tavern will offer a specialty brunch drink on Sunday as well. Finally, don't miss the Eagles Watch Party at the U.S. Hotel for some final drinks with your buddies.
