Manayunk’s Halloween celebration will be taking place October 22, and there is endless fun and spooky festivities awaiting you! This Halloween extravaganza will take place at three locations in Manayunk— Pretzel Park, Cotton Street, and Venice Island. Many of Main Street’s merchants will be handing out tricks and treats, too! Follow this guide to navigate the event and get into the spirit of Halloween.

Pretzel Park
Starting at 10 a.m., head over to the Pretzel Park Farmer’s Market to stock up on some fresh fall produce and goodies. North Light Community Center will be set up with kids’ activities along with other vendors. Pretzel Park will also host a beer garden and BBQ—so you can enjoy a cold one and good eats during lunchtime.

Pretzel Park is the place for live music during the Halloween celebration. Beginning at 1 p.m., be sure to head to the park in the afternoon for both live music and performances. Bands and groups include Germantown Shout Band, Max Mifflin Jazz Quartet, Merge Dance Studio, and Nothing Wrong Band.

But before the fun resumes at Pretzel Park, make sure to click a pick of the kids and dogs in costume as they line up for the costume parade at noon!

Cotton Street
Follow the parade to the official viewing area at Cotton Street, where there will be more Halloween fun and photo opportunities! Activities include sidewalk chalk fun, hula hooping, and Halloween-themed games. Kids (and adults!) can get their face painted from 12:30 p.m. courtesy of Fabulous Faces.

Venice Island
Venice Island will be the last stop on the Halloween parade, which is set to arrive around 12:30pm. Stick around to enjoy some Halloween favorites, like pumpkin carving and painting. Families can also navigate their way through the corn maze! Don’t get lost in maze though, because you don’t want to miss the kid’s carnival games and prizes to wrap up the afternoon celebration at Venice Island.
