MANAYUNK

Lenny and Tieg’s Manayunk love story began with a little help from Match.com. After months of emailing and talking on the phone, they took the next step and planned their first date. Tieg arrived at  A.G. Jameson's U.S. Hotel Bar and Grill on that fateful December day, in a timely manner. Unbeknownst to her, the future love of her life had a bit of a punctuality problem. So, when she called to let him know she had arrived and would be outside waiting for him, he made the kind suggestion that she go ahead and wait inside. Thankfully, she heeded his warning and headed inside, then proceeded to wait over an hour for his arrival! As it turned out, while he was en route, Lenny got in a minor car accident! Don’t worry, he was okay, but the same could not be said about his poor car.

Tieg found it in heart to forgive his tardiness, as he had a pretty legit excuse. After enjoying drinks, they opted for dinner at Zesty’s. Despite dubbing their first date the “Most Expensive Date Ever,” it was a huge success and they had their second and third dates later on that same week! Fast forward to today: they have been together for more than five years, live in Lenny’s Manayunk home with their precious pup, Penelope, and are engaged and plan to marry in May 2017. Manayunk was definitely the third party in their love story and we are sure it will continue to be to be a main character in the years to come!
