MANAYUNK

Over the years, we have had countless people tell us their Manayunk love stories. Stories about how they met here in college, went on their first date here, fell in love, got married, bought their first home here, and are now raising their family here. Anecdotes about how they worked together at one of our amazing businesses for years, then realized the love of their life was right in front of them the whole time. Tales of growing up here, moving away, coming back with their love, then falling in love with Manayunk in a whole new light with their partner by their side. If Manayunk is part of your love story, we want to hear it and share it with the world in honor of Valentine’s Day. And one lucky couple is in for a real treat!

Here are the details:

• Email Colleen at csavage@manayunk.org with your Manayunk love story. Please, keep it to no more than two paragraphs, and be sure to include a photo of you and your love, as well as your first names. Be aware, these stories are being shared on our blog as well as on social media, so only submit a story if you are okay with this.

• We will be sharing each story on social media for the public to vote on their favorite Manayunk love story by liking the post. Whichever couple’s story earns the most likes, will win dinner for two at Manayunk’s newest restaurant, Maya J, decked out with a sweetheart table styled by Pineapple on Main.

• Story submissions and photos are due no later than Friday, February 5th 2016.

• Voting will take place on Facebook Monday, February 8th 2016 thru Friday, February 12th 2016.
