Everything You Need To Know About The Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival

The delicious day we've all been craving is right around the corner! Join us in Manayunk on Sunday (September 13th) for flavors in almost every type of food from savory BBQ to sweet desserts. With over 50 food trucks, the day can be a little overwhelming. Get all the facts here before you adventure down Main Street searching for the best food coma!

What time will the food trucks be ready?
The food trucks will be serving up their delicious food from 11am-5pm. Our advice is to arrive a little early to beat the lines!

What Trucks + Vendors will be at StrEAT?
We have a great line up of trucks! Over 50 of Philadelphia’s best food trucks will be in on Main Street. You can find the complete list here: http://goo.gl/FeUNj9

What can I get in the beer garden?
For those 21 and older, there will be a Beer and Wine Garden. For just $10 you can get five 5 ounce samples. You can choose from a variety of beers such as Goose Island, Shocktop, Stella Cidre, and more! This year we also will have wine samples too by EJ Gallo Winery!

What happens if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event! Come prepared for any type of weather because the trucks will still be here.

Will there be bathrooms at the venue?
There will be Port O Potties located on Levering Street and Lock Street.

Where can I park?
The Green Lane parking lot will be open, but can fill up fast! In addition to the lot parking, there is also plenty of parking in the neighborhood too.  However, we encourage guests to walk, bike, or use SEPTA to get here.

Will I be able to ride a bike to the event?
We encourage our visitors to stay active and remain eco-friendly by biking to the StrEAT Food Festival! Take Kelly Drive from Center City or the Schuylkill River Trail from all parts of the Philadelphia region. Visit the Bike Coalition of Greater Philadelphia for more details and biking maps. There are places to lock your bike along Cotton St.

What are the SEPTA Train schedules and fare rates?
For schedules and fare rates, contact SEPTA at (215) 580-7800 or on the web at www.septa.org for more information.

1.    SEPTA Regional Rail - Manayunk/Norristown Line
2.    SEPTA Bus Route 35 - Manayunk/Roxburough Loop
3.    SEPTA Bus Route 61 - 9th & Market/Manayunk

I can't make the food festival. What is your next food event?
You're in luck because the StrEAT Food Festival is actually a kick off to Manayunk Restaurant Week! Manayunk Restaurant Week starts Monday, September 14th and runs until the 25th. Highlighting some of Manayunk's best eateries, this is the perfect opportunity to try some new options. Participating restaurants offer 3 courses for either $15, $25, or $35.

The StrEAT Food Festival is day full of all of your favorite foods.  Be sure to come hungry and a little adventurous (you never know what undiscovered food your taste buds have been craving). A huge thanks to everyone involved for their support, participation, and making this event possible! We can't wait to see you all there!
