From smoothers and sweet sauce to vintage and bridal, Manayunk has several new businesses who have opened their doors just in time for summer!
Many Philadelphians have grown up on this local award winning pizzeria who just set up shop on the corner of Levering and Cresson Streets – Franzone's Pizzeria has been around for almost 60 years, and known for their signature sweet sauce swirled to perfection and topped with the freshest mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Each bite is the ideal balance between thin crust, cheese and sauce. While they are famous for their pizza, don't miss out on their delicious appetizers, sandwiches, sides and more.
Fresh squeezed juices and smoothies have arrived on Main Street inside The Juice Merchant, located at 4330 Main Street. Lenny Bazemore, of The Bazemore Gallery, opened the shop to serve the local Manayunk fitness and health conscious community. The Juice Merchant will be serving up fresh, healthy choices including juices, hummus, smoothies, wraps, salads and desserts all created and managed by Chef Monica Sellecchia. Make sure you stop by and support because a portion of the proceeds from every juice and smoothie will be donated to Philabundance on a monthly basis.
The recently opened Millay Vintage is bringing all things lovely to 4390 Main Street. Owner Mary Spears features a carefully selected collection of timeless one-of-a-kind finds for creative women who appreciate the past and want to make their mark in the future. Specializing in vintage clothing and home wares, the shop has a strong online following and now has a physical home in their first brick and mortar space.
Call all brides! Ashe B & Co. has opened the doors of their new bridal and special occasion boutique on Main Street. They've filled the shop with gowns from designers all over the country. Their motto, rad dresses for rad brides, rings true when you see their collection. It's not all about bridal though, the shop will also feature dresses and some accessories for other special occasions.
Pineapple on Main, located at 4347 Main Street, joins the Manayunk community as a destination for event management, staffing, styling and floral design. The shared studio space meets multiple event needs all in one place. The design of the studio space alone is a testament to the talents of Pineapple's stylists and floral designers. Pineapple on Main opened their doors April 1st and can meet all of the aesthetic and logistic needs for weddings, corporate and social events!
