MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Fall 2013 StrEAT Food Festival and Restaurant Week
After the great success of the past two StrEAT Food Festivals, the Manayunk Development Corporation is happy to announce this year’s Fall StrEAT Food Festival and Restaurant Week!
On Saturday September 21st, Main Street will be lined with some of Philadelphia’s best food trucks with specialties ranging from ice cream to Asian delicacies. Visitors are encouraged to walk the length of Main Street stopping at trucks and restaurants to choose from dozens of options at affordable prices. A restaurant tour will also take place highlighting a secret ingredient (apples for the fall) at participating trucks and eateries in Manayunk. The retailers join in the fun with free seasonal treats, sidewalk sales and other in-store promotions. Live music and dining areas will be scattered around Main Street, Manayunk so that you can sit back, relax, and enjoy this great event. Fall 2013 StrEAT Food Festival.
Following the StrEAT Food Festival, from Sunday, September 22 through the following Saturday, October 5th,Manayunk restaurants will host Manayunk Restaurant Week. Nearly all of our Manayunk restaurants participate in special 3 course menus offered at $10, $20, and $30 prices. Our local chefs work hard to offer special menu items, cocktails, and desserts inspired by the festival's secret ingredient. Fall 2013 Restaurant Week.

will there be transportation(buses) into Manayunk the day of the festival?
Hi Sue,
There will be the usual bus schedule through SEPTA. The 35 and the 61 come directly to Main Street, Manayunk. The train (R6 - Manayunk/Norristown Line) will also be running on normal weekend schedule. We will not have additional shuttles for the event.
