There is no better place to celebrate the holidays than Main Street in Manayunk! With more than 50 small locally-owned businesses, you’re surely find something for everyone on your list. While shopping and dining around town, get in the holiday spirit by joining us at one of our many holiday events and take a tour of our wonderful holiday light displays on our FREE Jolly Trolley rides Thursday, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout the season. Manayunk lights up for the holidays on November 19, 2026 with our annual tree-lighting ceremony! Join us at Canal View Park (4418 Main Street) at 5:30PM where we’ll host special guests and live performances.

Every year, Manayunk Main Street gets LIT with local businesses decorating their storefronts for a chance to get first place in our annual decorating competition!
November 19 through the Holiday Season!
Shop small and shop local at over 50 small businesses to find something for everyone on your list as the neighborhood kicks off the holidays season with Small Business Saturday on November 28 2025!

Bring the family to Main Street all season long for Get Lit weekends which will feature food and drink deals, shopping specials, festive live entertainment, and the FREE Manayunk Jolly Trolley.
The Jolly Trolley will run up and down Main Street making several stops at your favorite businesses! Plus, it’s the best way to take in all the twinkling Get Lit lights.

Pet Friendly Dog Bakery presents Santa Paws
Capture paw-some memories at 4324 Main St on December 6th! Bring your furry friend out, and watch them strike a pose with Santa at this pet friendly photoshoot.
Enter to win raffle give-away prizes – proceeds go to local pet rescues.

The 11th Annual Rudolph Run is a 3 mile run along the Manayunk canal path. To help spread some holiday cheer to those in need we’ll be collecting canned goods and other necessities for our friends at North Light Community Center as donations/entry fee. rooks will have their latest and greatest footwear for you to test out on the run and some special post run treats back in our shop afterward. Holiday attire is encouraged!

Operation Santa Claus is back – a collaborative program that will support local families in need this holiday season. In partnership with North Light Community Center, the Manayunk Development Corporation is helping local families in need this holiday season.

Eight Crazy Nights of Hanukkah:
Back again this year is Eight Crazy Nights of Hanukkah. In celebration of the Festival of Lights, Manayunk will be hosting ‘Eight Crazy Nights’ of Instagram giveaways with prizes from Manayunk restaurants, stores, and specialty businesses.

Manayunk Shines bright for the Festival of Lights. On Thursday, December 18 join in for a magical Hanukkah candle lighting in Canal View park with Mt Airy Chabad. Candles, delicious latkes, and so much more.

There are over 700 spaces are available in parking lots conveniently located throughout the commercial district. In addition, revenue generated in many Manayunk parking lots is used for street maintenance, anti-graffiti programs, landscape and greening projects, watershed education and ongoing development projects. Yes, your parking dollars help keep our neighborhood beautiful!
