MANAYUNK

The Manayunk Wingwomen are back for their 4th year! Manayunk's woman-owned businesses are again partnering with Grab-N-Flow. This initiative supports local women in need by providing access to essential products such as menstrual, postpartum, infant supplies, and more. These products are collected through donations, with donation bins located at Manayunk woman-owned businesses. The products are then distributed to Grab-N-Flow sheds across the city. This year, the initiative will also support Women Against Abuse, Philadelphia’s leading domestic violence advocate and service provider. Through services like their crisis hotline, safe haven shelters, and legal center, they have helped over 10,000 people in the past year.

Last year, 24 businesses joined as drop-off locations or fundraising partners. Overall, 38+ bins of supplies were collected as well as donations for Women Against Abuse. This year, we are expecting an even greater outcome!

How It Works:

Bring a donation to one of the pink Grab-N-Flow bins in a participating business. See list of donation items and participating businesses below. All donors will receive a Manayunk Wingwomen sticker with donation.

• Postpartum Underwear
• Diapers - all sizes
• Pregnancy Tests
• Monetary Donations to Women Against Abuse - organization's Venmo & QR code will be available

What’s New This Year?

To celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th, we’re hosting a Wingwomen Shopping Crawl featuring women-owned businesses. With more participating businesses than ever before, participating stores will offer exclusive treats, discounts, and events, hosting giveaways, themed cocktails, and specialty items. This event is open to the whole community!
