Manayunk’s Dog Day of Summer is returning for its sixth year with tons of pup-centric fun! Manayunk business and local vendors will be selling pet-friendly goodies and hosting fun activities. Dog Day of Summer is a free summer festival centered around Manayunk's ever-growing canine community.

When: Saturday, August 17th from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Where: Main Street Manayunk from Green Lane to Shurs Lane

Not a street closed event.

Dog Day of Summer Activities

A pawsitively fun day awaits with activities on Cotton Street and in Canal View Park!

Puppy Park & Agility Course - Have your pets test their strength at the Puppy Park & Agility Course on Cotton Street which will feature hurdles, obstacles, turf, a misting tent, and our favorite…the doggie seesaw. We hope to see them weave and wiggle their way through.

Peanut Butter Puppy Paint - Bring your pups to Cotton Street to paint (or lick) their very own portrait with pet safe paint and peanut butter. Who knows what masterpieces will be created.

Canine Caricatures with Dan's Toonz - Dan’s Toonz will be sketching caricatures of pet parents and their furry friends throughout the event. Stop by Cotton Street to take home the memory - cartoon style!

Dog Day Photo Booth - Accessorize and step into the inflatable Dog Day Photo Booth in Canal View Park (4418 Main Street) to take home a pawesome portrait of you and your dog.

Manayunk Merchants Activities

Manayunk merchants will be hosting activities, giveaways, pop-ups, and more in and out front of their businesses!

The Animedic: The Animedic table will be set up near Jamestown Avenue. Furry friends will be treated to ice cream pup cups.

All Canines & Emerge Fitness: Out front of their storefront, All Canines and Emerge Fitness will be set up to tell you more about their services.

Bark Play Love: Stop by the Bark Play Love table for giveaways, swag, & more!

Bark Social: Yappy Hour Special and Pet Portrait Painting! No artistic ability or experience is required. Each canvas will be pre-sketched. Pre-registration is required here.

City of Paws Pet Care: Puppy pool party, giveaway bags to first 50 customers, Brixxy & Co. Bandana pop-up, pet food vendors and pet photography

Lucky's Last Chance: Pet-friendly ball pits, bubble machines, glamor shots, and more on Conarroe Street

Minor Details: Custom on the spot drawings - $35 for a 6x6 watercolor

PA Realtor Christine Ertz | Real of Pennsylvania: Bad B Dog Training pop-up with dog trainer Kim Borbone and rescue dogs on site for demonstrations

Doggie Bandana and Tank Top Dye Activity ($10-$15) from 11AM-1PM
Paw Print Activity - pups will leave a permanent paw print on Pet-Friendly’s planters. All participants will receive a 10% coupon on their next purchase. From 1-4PM.
The store will unveil a new butterfly selfie mural in the play yard. All day pool party featuring sprinklers, toys, free pup cups, and samples of new dog beers, wines, and seltzers. From 11AM-4PM.

Walk this Way & Orbit Art Gallery: Dog swag, frisbee giveaways, and a full display of dog prints by Ryan Fowler
