What are the Get Lit Weekends?

On each weekend, starting November 30th and finishing up on December 23rd, Get Lit Weekends will have holiday themed live entertainment, merchant deals,and of course, the FREE Jolly Trolley. You can also just walk around and admire the lights along Main Street from Manayunk Gets LIT! Competition. There will be no shortage of Holiday cheer in Manayunk throughout the Holiday season!

When will the Jolly Trolley be running and where will it stop?

The Jolly Trolley will be running on each day of the Get Lit Weekends. On Thursdays and Fridays the Trolley will be taking its route from 5-9 PM and on Saturdays it will run from 1-9 PM. Riders can feel free to hop on and off for FREE, and the entire loop is about 20-25 minutes in total. Check out the Jolly Trolley route below!

What entertainment should I expect on the Jolly Trolley on each weekend?

While you take your ride along Main Street, you may end up meeting some special guests along the way. You may be able to meet with jolly old Santa Clause and his elves, run into the mean Mr. Grinch, or even have a great time with Olaf the Snowman. You may also hear some beautiful music with Courtney’s Carolers or the Philadelphia Freedom Band. Please see below for the full schedule of who’s coming when.

Will the Manayunk Gets LIT! Competition be part of Get Lit Weekends?

Yes! Businesses will have their lights up all holiday season, so come and take them in as you enjoy a night out in Manayunk. Keep in mind that while the lights stay up until December 31st, voting for your favorite businesses and their lights will end on December 14th.
