Know Before You Go: Halloween in Manayunk

What spooky activities can I attend?

  • Starting on October 6 and going through the 28th, you will be able to get on the free Trick-or-Trolley on Fridays and Saturdays, getting off at different locations all around Manayunk. On Fridays, the trolley will run from 6 to 10 PM and on Saturdays, 1 to 10 PM. The full loop will take around 25 minutes. The trolley will be decked out in Halloween lights and decorations to get you in the Halloween spirit. The trolley loop will begin at the movie theater parking lot and ends at the ivy ridge train station. Sponsored stops along the way include:Tubby Robot Ice Cream Factory, Taqueria Amor, Lucky’s Last Chance, La Roca, and Lincoln MIll Haunted House. Hop on the trolley for dinner before or after visiting the haunted house! Or - just ride the trolley for a fun trip wherever you need to go.
  • The Lincoln Mill Haunted House is open on weekends throughout the Halloween season, as well as on select Thursdays and Sundays. This haunted house features live actors, sets and props for a full spook-tacular experience.

Saturday afternoons, Lincoln Mill will host their lights on haunt. There will be no scare actors, the lights will be turned on in the trail, and there is an immersive scavenger hunt throughout the trial. This feature is perfect for families who do not enjoy being spooked but still want to attend Halloween festivities.

Please see the Lincoln Mill website for details and ticket information.

  • Saturday the 28th will be full of festivities, including a farmers market costume parade starting in Pretzel Park at 10:30 AM and moving on through Main Street for the Trick-or-Treat event, starting at 11:00. Select businesses will be handing out candy, so you will not want to miss this! There will also be activities for kids at Pretzel Park right after the parade.

What businesses will be participating in Trick-or-Treating?

Businesses up and down Main Street will be available to Trick-or-Treat on the 28th. Many businesses will be handing out candy like Pet Friendly Dog Bakery, MyPhillyHouse, Lucky’s Last Chance, Jake’s and Cooper’s Wine Bar and Wine Store, Crust Vegan Bakery, Minor Details Philly, Tubby Robot, Mi’n Tea, The Couch Tomato, Taqueria Amor, The Look Listen, La Roca, The Little Apple, and a whole lot more.

Will I be able to dress up?

Of course! We encourage everyone to put on their scariest costumes for the parade and Trick-or-Treating, including kids, adults and even pets!
