Another month of Stroll the Let your creative side soar with an MUSIC-themed month of activities and experiences for our Stroll the Street summer series here in Manayunk!

Every Thursday this July, you and your family can join in on interactive music demos from drum circles, to alt-funk groups, and fiddle players. Further down below is the complete list of dates and events for Stroll the Street - Music Edition this July.

7/6 - STROLL FUN

Come and kick off July Stroll with us Thursday, July 6th. Vendors, music, food, and more will take over Main Street Manayunk while local businesses and restaurants will host sales, specials, and promotions. Tons of summer fun!

7/13 - MUSIC STROLL & MOVIE NIGHT

Thursday, July 13th, there’s going to be more music on the street than normal! Stop by the stroll stops to catch talented musicians highlighting a variety of genres and instruments. Manayunk will be joined by Coop a Loop, Gabe Preseton, Tom Plays Fiddle, the Roxborough Orchestra, and more during this night of musical fun. Other stops include Ring Street (next to Jake’s & Cooper’s), Fat Lady Brewing, The Goat’s Beard, La Roca, and Canalside.

At dusk, strollers should plan to stop by Cotton Street for a movie showing of the Sandlot presented by JD McGilicuddy’s.

7/20- JOE TAYOUN WORLD DRUMMING + INTERACTIVE DRUM CIRCLE

Local percussionist, Joe Tayoun, will be leading a participatory drum circle and world drumming demonstration from 6-8PM at the MNYK ArtBox. He’ll be bringing a variety of drums for people to try out and play!

7/27 HENRY GOLDEN

8-Piece alt-funk group, Henry Golden, will take over the MNYK Artbox and will highlight everything to do with the keys. Don’t miss this performance infused with hints of jazz, soul, and moody pop from 6-8PM on Thursday, July 27.
