Jun 22, 2023 0 comments

What is the Manayunk Arts Festival?

The Manayunk Arts Festival is back and celebrating its 34th year! The Manayunk Arts Festival is the Tri-State's largest outdoor, juried arts festival! This year, there will be over 300 artists in Manayunk presenting the best variety of fine arts and crafts from across the country.

When and where is it happening?

The festival begins on Saturday, June 24th from 11 AM - 7 PM and continues on Sunday, June 25th from 11 AM - 6 PM.

This year, The Manayunk Arts Festival is 34 years strong and even bigger than before! Main Street will be closed and hundreds of artists will line the street. You can find our Emerging Artists in the Richards Apex lot between Pensdale and Rector.

What types of artists will be at the festival this year?

The 2023 artists and vendors feature eight different disciplines: Fiber, Glass, Ceramics, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Painting & Drawing, Photography, and Wood & Sculpture. We are excited to host 30+ Emerging Artists again this year. Look for these budding artists in the Emerging Artist Tent in the Richards Apex lot between Pensdale and Rector Streets. To see the complete list of artists attending the festival, visit our website.

Where should I look if I'm trying to find a particular artist's booth?

To make it easy for you to find a certain artist, we have a festival MAP that shows where all artists are located throughout the entire weekend!

What about weather conditions?

It is a rain-or-shine event, so come dressed according to the weather and make sure you stay hydrated! Thanks to Unity Recovery, there will be a FREE water station. Bring your reusable water bottle, or buy one at the festival, and fill it up at the filtered water taps!

Do artists accept credit card payments? Where are the nearest ATMs?

Some artists do accept credit card payments, while others only accept cash and electronic payments. There are a few different ATMs that are easily accessible in Manayunk, located at the following places:

  • Chloe’s Corner (4162 Main Street)
  • Palm Tree Market (115 Levering Street)
  • Salon L (4120 Main Street)
