Stroll the Street - Plein on Main
Let the art begin! June is art month for our summer series, Stroll the Street, and we’re kicking it off with Plein on Main presented by Orbit Art Gallery and The Look Listen. Plein on Main invites 15+ talented artists to the street to compete in a plein air style competition. We invite visitors to come and stroll the street as the artists bring their work to life. Below is everything you need to know about the event.
When: Thursday, June 1st from 12PM - 7PM.
The rain date is Thursday, June 8th from 12PM - 7PM.
Where: Main Street Manayunk between Leverington Avenue & Shurs Lane
Event Details: 15+ artists will compete - plein air style - for a grand prize of $1000 and additional prizes for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place. Painting begins at 12PM, and artists will be located at varying locations. Paintings can be bought at the event, and all artwork will come to life on Main Street in the natural elements.
