What is Dog Day of Summer?

This one has gone to the dogs! Celebrate our four-legged friends this August with a day full of pet-friendly vendors, activities, pet adoptions, food vendors, and more along Main Street.

Don't have a dog? Don't fret! This is fur sure a family-friendly event for four and two-legged guests!

Take home a caricature of your pup to remember Dog Day forever! How a-dog-able!

*Pet must be present to participate. 2 dog limit. First come, first serve.*

Puppy Park and Agility Course

Do you think your dog has what it takes to master the agility course? See if they can conquer the high jump, agility weave, & seesaw run! Don't worry, it's paw-ssible!

Ever wonder what’s going on in your dog's adorable little head? Luckily, Clairvoyant Monica has a special pet connection, stop by to find out.

Puppy Photo Booth by DOC-ROB Entertainment

Raffle Benefiting Street Tails Animal Rescue

Visit the Manayunk swag shop to pick up raffle tickets for a chance to win gift certificates to local restaurants and shops, free fitness classes, and pet themed merchandise! All proceeds will benefit Street Tails Animal Rescue.

Dog Inspired Poetry at Whitman on Walls!

Join local poets at Whitman on Walls! hosted by Venice Island.The event will project seven films on a public wall and feature live poets “speak back” to Whitman. This also includes a dog poem that we are pawsitive you won’t want to miss!

Coming To Manayunk By Car:

From South

(Delaware, Baltimore)

Take I-95 North. Follow signs for Central Philadelphia/I- 676 West. Follow 676 West to signs for Route 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) West - (towards Valley Forge). Take 76 to Belmont Ave/Green Lane Exit 338 (old exit 31), at the bottom of the ramp make a right turn cross the Green Lane bridge to the traffic light which is Main Street and make a right turn. Welcome to Manayunk - first parking lot will appear on your right just past the fire house.

From West

(Reading, Lancaster, Harrisburg)

Take the PA Turnpike East to Exit 326 (old exit 24; Schuylkill Expressway). Take Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) East towards Central Philadelphia. Take 76 to Belmont Ave/Green Lane Exit 338 (old exit 31), at the bottom of the ramp make a left turn, cross the Green Lane bridge to the traffic light which is Main Street and make a right turn. Welcome to Manayunk - first parking lot will appear on your right just past the fire house.

From North

(New York, North Jersey)
