What is the Founders Philly Freeze-Out?

Founders Brewing Company and Manayunk.com have teamed together to create a winter festival on Main Street Manayunk. The Founders Philly Freeze-Out is a day full of winter fun including live music, live ice carving demonstrations, Founders Brewing Company drink specials, chowder specials, and in-store shopping deals.

Main Street will be covered with over 20 ice sculptures by Peter Slavin and the Ice Sculpture Philly team. The ice sculpture tour begins on Shurs Lane at Manayunk Brewing company. Make your way down to Main and Lock Street where Founders Brewing Company will be handing out goodies and prizes to attendees who register ahead.

When are the live ice carvings?

11:30 a.m. The Couch Tomato/Manayunk Tavern (Peace Sign sculpture)

12:30 p.m. Winnie’s Manayunk (LOVE statue)

1:30 p.m. Pitchers Pub/Pizza Jawn (TBD)

2:30 p.m. Lucky’s Last Chance (Hotdog)

3:30 p.m. Union Tap House (Joel Embiid)

In addition to the live carvings, there will be ice sculptures lining Main Street in front of a variety of our small businesses.

Is the cold not your thing?

In addition to the outdoor family fun, Founders Brewing Company beer and chowder specials will be on the menu at participating restaurants.
