It’s summer! You know what that means - fun in the sun! One of the best ways that you can enjoy the sunshine is by having a picnic in Manayunk. A number of picnic tables can be found across Manayunk that are completely free and open to the public. The only thing you need to do is decide which place to go!

Gay Street

The displays located at Gay Street are totally Instagram-worthy! The themes change seasonally, but the picnic tables are here to stay. This summer, enjoy "Under the Rainbow''! Other displays in the past have included flower-wrapped hoops for the Garden on Gay in spring and even snowflakes for the winter season. So grab a refreshing drink right next door at Tsaocaa or takeout from Bernie's and let the picnic begin!

Manayunk Bridge Garden

How many places can you dine on a bridge? The Manayunk Bridge Garden is located at the iconic bridge near Dupont and High Streets maintained by the Roxborough Manayunk Conservancy. After your morning walk on the Manayunk Bridge Trail, come down and grab some coffee and a treat from Artesano Cafe, and enjoy at this serene spot.
