What is Out and About ?

In honor of National Coming Out Day in October, Out & About in MNYK will host a weekend-long event to promote Manayunk as a safe place that welcomes everyone. With a slew of different activities that will promote inclusivity among the Manayunk community !

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18

Winnie's Manayunk
Doors open at 6PM - Bingo starts at 7PM
$40 ticket gets you 9 games of bingo, shows, and buffet dinner

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19

Drag Queen Spin Co-Taught by Julie and Queen Paula Deen White
11AM
$40 cost includes spin class, keepsake Polaroid with the queen, a swag bag valued at over $75 and an experience you won’t get anywhere else

There are over 700 spaces available in parking lots conveniently located throughout the commercial district. In addition, revenue generated in many Manayunk parking lots is used for street maintenance, anti-graffiti programs, landscape and greening projects, watershed education and ongoing development projects. Yes, your parking dollars help keep our neighborhood beautiful!

    Who redesigned or updated the bridge logo with the rainbow. Diversity being well represented graphically!
    I really like it. It is a happy way to symbolize diversity throughout the Philly region, beyond any singular group.
