MANAYUNK

The leaves were falling and the sun was shining on this beautiful fall day in Manayunk! On Saturday, September 29th 2018 our community celebrated the second Manayunk Harvest Fest, which turned out to be a great success! People and pups filled up Pretzel Park for the live music, unique foods and drinks, activities, and great atmosphere of smiling people that strolled through the streets. Everyone who participated and attended helped to make this a wonderful day for the community!

Crowds were drawn to the fun and uplifting music that each of the artists played. Performances by Ben Arnold, Kuf Knotz, Black Horse Motel, and more got people off of their seats and dancing all day long. Fest goers had the chance to try delicious food, drinks, and desserts from the amazing food truck lineup we had! Mouthwatering donuts, pizza, tacos, bbq, and plenty more didn’t fail to impress the hungry crowd of people in attendance. The kids had fun getting their faces painted, watching the professional pumpkin carver, and having caricatures done! On top of all of that, everyone enjoyed shopping around at all of the vendors who were offering tons of unique items and gifts.

We loved seeing all of you out there and we hope you had a beautiful Fall day! If you didn’t get the chance to make this event, we have plenty more coming your way! One in particular is the Halloween in Manayunk event coming up on Saturday, October 27th from 11 AM to 4 PM on Main Street!

We love getting the chance to bring the community together and truly appreciate everyone who came out and participated in Harvest Fest this year to make it a wonderful day for Manayunk. We had the best time seeing everyone and hope to see you again very soon!
