What special interactive activities are happening?

While we love viewing all of the amazing art, we are ready to create art ourselves! We have an incredible lineup of live, interactive activations happening throughout the weekend that you won’t want to miss:

  • Community Art Vessel at BabyFace Studio: Stop by BabyFace Studio (located at 4249 Main Street) to leave your mark on a massive, handmade vessel created by the studio’s owner, Kim. The entire Manayunk community is invited to paint directly onto the piece all weekend long. After the festival, it will be glazed and permanently displayed in the studio’s window to celebrate our community’s shared creativity!
  • Paint My Ride – 2026 Tour: Experience art in motion as this live, immersive platform celebrates Carrera’s 70th anniversary. Representing a decade of Carrera’s legacy, two local artists will go head-to-head to transform a single vintage car with their own distinct visions in real time. The best part? The crowd decides the winner on-site, sending the city champion to a national vote on CarreraWorld.com!
  • Be Your Own Artist at Canal View Park: Bring out your inner artist by stepping into Canal View Park for an interactive area hosted by local artist Aaron Birk of Aquaria Studio. Festivalgoers of all ages are welcome to pull up a seat, explore their inner artist, and bring their own creative visions to life with Aaron’s guidance. What will you create?
  • Lucky’s Funk Shop Pop-Up: Lucky’s Last Chance is turning up the creative energy this summer with a vibrant pop-up art experience right at the festival! Come check out a curated collection of bold, fun, and eclectic works from some of Lucky’s favorite Philly artists, celebrating the unique spirit of our local creative community. This will be happening June 27th and 28th, and is located at 4421 Main Street.

Will there be food and drinks?

Absolutely! While you explore the festival, be sure to support our amazing Manayunk restaurants, cafes, and bars, many of which will be setting up outside with grab-and-go bites, cold drinks, and sweet treats.

Need a break from the heat? Step inside one of our local spots to cool off and enjoy a full meal, coffee, or cocktail. From brunch to brews, there’s something for every craving right here on Main Street.

Where are the bathrooms?

Portable restrooms will be available at several key points along the festival route:
Cotton Street
Levering Street
Lock Street

Additionally, restrooms are available inside many retail and restaurant locations.

What about the heat?

We’re prepared for summer weather!
Misting tents will be set up to help you cool off.
EMTs and first responders will be stationed on-site throughout the weekend for safety and peace of mind.
Stay hydrated and take breaks in the shade or inside our many local businesses.

Is the event family-friendly?

Definitely! The festival is a great outing for all ages. Expect interactive art stations, family-friendly entertainment, and activities perfect for little ones.

Can I bring my dog?

We recommend leaving pets at home, as the crowds, pavement heat, and long hours can be tough on our furry friends. Service animals are, of course, welcome.

What if it rains?

The festival is rain or shine, so bring an umbrella and keep shopping!

How can I check who won?

Artist award winners will be announced on Sunday afternoon via our Instagram and Facebook pages.

The full list of winners will also be added to the Manayunk Arts Festival event page on our website shortly after the event. Be sure to check back and see which artists stood out!
