Help us celebrate our favorite summer tradition - Stroll the Street! Join us on Main Street every Thursday in June, July, and August for an evening full of vendors, musicians, artists, merchant sales & specials, activities, and more. Starting at 5 pm

2023 will be bringing back themed nights! Join us for:

WEEK 1: June 1st

Plein on Main

Join us on Main Street as 15+ talented artists bring their artwork to life at Stroll the Street's very first plein air competition. For a full list of participating artists and event details see here.

WEEK 2 : June 8th

Outdoor activities/vending have been canceled due to unhealthy air quality. The movie night will be pushed to June 15th.

Free Paint + Movie Night

Chanel your own inner artist! We'll be hosting a free paint night on Cotton Street. Stop by, grab a canvas, and let the creativity take you. Movie showing will take place after the free paint.

WEEK 3: June 15th

Artbox Demo: Tuft the World

Movie Night

New to this year is the MNYK Artbox. We'll be hosting interactive art demos and performances all summer long. Tuft the World will be taking the stage on Cotton Street with their community tufting project. They'll be demo-ing and inviting guests to participate as well.

Afterwards, join us for movie night where you can catch the showing of What About Bob? presented by JD McGillicuddy's.

WEEK 4: June 22nd

Artbox Demo - Birdwatchers Studio

Max Gordon of Birdwatchers Studio will take on the MNYK Artbox with an interactive screen-printing demo and experience.

WEEK 5: June 29th

Family Fun Night

Caricatures, face painting, crafts, and more! Join us on Cotton Street for tons of family fun.

Tubby Robot Ice Cream Factory:

Specialty ice cream sandwiches on Thursdays with cookies by local baker My Sweet Gluttony

JD McGillicuddy's:

$5 cheesesteaks, $5 summer shandy, $7 blueberry lemonades

Live radio show on the street! On June 8th, Sean Brace of The Gambler (Fox Sports) will be on air from 3-6PM out front of MyPhilly.House at Compass RE.

Unity Yoga:

Chill zone and bridge yoga will be taking place Thursdays on the Manayunk Bridge. All are welcome! Bring a mat, water bottle, and towel to flow above Manayunk. In case of bad weather, class will be held in the studio. $25 for the class.

BIKING HERE

Stay active and remain eco-friendly by biking to Manayunk! Take Kelly Drive from Center City or the Schuylkill River Trail from all parts of the Philadelphia region. Visit the Bike Coalition of Greater Philadelphia for more details and biking maps.

PARKING HERE

There are over 700 spaces are available in parking lots conveniently located throughout the commercial district. In addition, revenue generated in many Manayunk parking lots is used for street maintenance, anti-graffiti programs, landscape and greening projects, watershed education and ongoing development projects. Yes, your parking dollars help keep our neighborhood beautiful!
