Job Title: Part-time Retail Sales Associate

Shifts:

10am to 6pm

Days needed/available - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Hourly Rate: $15/hr

Manayunk Development Corporation is opening a Welcome Center right in the heart of Manayunk! Available in store will be Manayunk merchandise for purchase, as well as information and history about the town. This will be an exciting new addition to our “small town in a big city” feel that is Manayunk.

Responsibilities:

• Manage purchases made within the store via Square
• Assist with store tasks, such as maintaining order and aesthetics in the Welcome Center
• Be able to answer basic questions for visitors of Manayunk
• Provide excellent customer service, including a friendly and welcoming demeanor to all clientele/visitors
• Assist with small projects assigned by MDC

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Previous cash handling experience preferred
• Basic math and counting skills required
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and respect towards colleagues and clientele
• Must be available to work weekends
