Manayunk Bridge Trail
At the top of Main Street, where it meets Green Lane, you’ll find the iconic Manayunk Bridge—once a rail line, now a scenic pedestrian trail reopened in 2016. It connects Manayunk to the Cynwyd Heritage Trail and offers stunning views of Main Street and the Philadelphia skyline. Use the map above to access the trail at Dupont and High Streets. Walkers and runners should follow the green route, while cyclists are encouraged to take the blue route.
All Trails Lead to Manayunk
The Schuylkill River Trail stretches from Center City Philadelphia to Valley Forge, with the Manayunk section running along the scenic canal and towpath just behind Main Street. Access the trail via Lock Street or several points along Main, and enjoy a mix of crushed stone and wooden boardwalk as it winds through wooded areas past Leverington Avenue—perfect for walking, running, biking, and exploring.
