HOW TO: Promenade of Trees 2018

What and when is this event?

The businesses of Manayunk will be decorating Christmas Trees in various themes to celebrate the holidays! These trees will be placed outside of their stores on Saturday, December 1st for everyone to see. For this event, you will place coins in a jar to vote for your favorite trees to help them win!

Who will be decorating the trees?

Our businesses here in Manayunk will be decorating their trees according to a specific theme. The Nickels Building will be decorated as "Christmas Vacation"! Here are some more examples:

Where do I get my coins to vote?

You will be able to pick up your bag of coins and a map at Style Me Mananyunk at The Nickels Building from 11 AM to 6 PM! There is no cost for these, or the event!

Where do I vote?

The businesses on Main Street will place jars near their Christmas trees, so placing your coin in this jar will count as one vote for the tree.

When can I vote?

This year, we have made a change so that you have the option to go off on your own to view the trees at your own pace throughout the day. If you would rather go with a group, you can join us on a guided tour beginning at 4 PM from The Nickels Building!
