Holidays In Manayunk

The Holidays In Manayunk are always fun! Many people kicked off their holiday season this past Decemeber with Santa on Ice. A professional ice sculptor created Santa's sleigh out a block of ice. Santa made an appearance to snap pictures in his newly carved ice sleigh in Canal View Park.

 

Later that night, many visitors stayed to celebrate the lighting of the Manayunk Christmas tree. There were also local performers, live music from B101, and Rival Bros Coffee truck supplying coffee and hot chocolate. As always, the local shops along Main Street were open to the public for shopping.
