How do I get to Manayunk?

There are many ways to get here, but it's up to you to decide which works best.

  • Driving: There are two exits off of I-76 that take you into Manayunk: Exit 338 (Belmont Ave/Green Lane) and Exit 340A (Lincoln Drive/Kelly Drive). Please note that the Walnut Lane Bridge is closed until October 2016, so we highly recommend taking Bells Mill Road or Lincoln Drive depending on where you are coming from. We recommend parking at the Green Lane lot (located on Green Lane between Main Street and Cresson Street), Carson Street lot (across from the post office), Levering lot, 4000 Main Street lot, or parking at either the Wissahickon or Ivy Ridge Station and taking the train to the Manayunk stop. Because the event will take place on Venice Island, there will be very limited parking at the lot on Saturday.
  • Public Transportation: Don't feel like driving? You can ride SEPTA's Manayunk-Norristown Line to the Manayunk Train Station. Here are Saturday's inbound and outbound schedules. Both the 35 and 61 buses will be rerouted for the day to Ridge Avenue.
  • Taxis, Ubers, and Lyfts are always great options as well.
  • If you are feeling extra ambitious, why not walk, run, or bike to Manayunk via the Circuit Trails? Plan your adventure to Manayunk here!

What if I need to use the bathroom while attending the festival?

There will be public restrooms on site near the ticket gates.

Am I allowed to leave the festival and come back?

Yes! When you first enter the festival, you will receive a wristband that allows you to leave the festival and explore Main Street. Just show your wristband upon reentering the festival.

Will there be seating?

We strongly encourage you to bring your own chair for the festival. There will be some seating for the public under our food tent, in the beer garden, and around the venue, but if you want to sit and enjoy the music closer to the stage, you should bring your own chair.

Will there be food and drinks available inside the venue?
There will be food and non-alcoholic beverages provided and served on-site by a few of our Manayunk restaurants. There will also be a beer garden on site sponsored by Shiner Brewing, so do not forget your ID if you are 21+. All beer costs $6. No outside food or alcoholic beverages are permitted in the festival venue. Attendees may bring coolers filled with water.

Are pets allowed to enter into the venue?
Unfortunately pets or other animals are not permitted on the venue grounds.

I've read this whole blog and still didn't get an answer to my question. Now what?

You can call our office at 215-482-9565 if you have any questions leading up to the festival. Our office hours are 10AM to 6PM.

A huge thanks to everyone involved for their support, participation, and making this event possible! We can't wait to see you all there!
