What is Small Business Saturday?
In an effort to support local shops that make our community strong, American Express launched Small Business Saturday on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to encourage people to Shop Small and bring more holiday shopping to small businesses.
Manayunk is home to over 50 small businesses who will have sales, promotions, giveaways, and more on Small Business Saturday to help you check everything off your list with personalized customer service. You will able to find something for everyone on your list right here in Manayunk!

This event will be taking place on Saturday, November 24th all day long.

Are any other events taking place?
Yes, the Tree Lighting Ceremony will be taking place to end the night from 5:30PM to 6PM in Canal View Park (4416 Main Street). There will be performances by Merge Dance Studio and Delaware Valley Opera Company, as well as speeches by government officials. And don't forget the big man himself! Santa will be arriving on a firetruck to kick of the ceremony!
Do I need a ticket for this event?
Nope! Small Business Saturday and the Tree Lighting Ceremony are both open to the public!

As a thank you for shopping small this holiday season we will be offering FREE PARKING at the following Manayunk parking lots on Small Business Saturday:
- Green Lane Lot (121 Green Ln, Philadelphia, PA 19127)
- Levering Lot (107 Levering St, Philadelphia, PA 19127)
- Venice Island Lot (7 Lock St, Philadelphia, PA 19127)
- 4000 Main (4000 Main St, Philadelphia, PA 19127)
Starting this weekend until the new year there will be free metered parking in Manayunk on the weekends starting at 11AM on Saturdays until Sunday at midnight.

Coming To Manayunk By Car
From South
(Delaware, Baltimore)
Take I-95 North. Follow signs for Central Philadelphia/I- 676 West. Follow 676 West to signs for Route 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) West - (towards Valley Forge). Take 76 to Belmont Ave/Green Lane Exit 338 (old exit 31), at the bottom of the ramp make a right turn cross the Green Lane bridge to the traffic light which is Main Street and make a right turn. Welcome to Manayunk - first parking lot will appear on your right just past the fire house.
From West
(Reading, Lancaster, Harrisburg)
Take the PA Turnpike East to Exit 326 (old exit 24; Schuylkill Expressway). Take Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) East towards Central Philadelphia. Take 76 to Belmont Ave/Green Lane Exit 338 (old exit 31), at the bottom of the ramp make a left turn, cross the Green Lane bridge to the traffic light which is Main Street and make a right turn.
