Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Salary)

Hours: Mondays-Fridays from 9AM-5PM (and event weekends)

Rate of Pay: $35,000+ (Based on Experience)

Benefits: Medical, Dental, & Vision (After 90 Day Probation Period)

Reports To: Executive Director

Summary: The Manayunk Development Corporation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit economic development organization. The MDC Administrative Assistant is responsible for overseeing various day-to-day operations of the Manayunk Development Corporation. This employee will work at the front desk to assist all walk-in visitors to the office.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing small projects and initiatives
  • Updating contact lists for businesses and property owners
  • Answering office phone and email
  • Ordering supplies for office and maintenance staff
  • Sending out meeting notices and minutes
  • Filing and other organizational tasks
  • Welcome all merchants, residents, and visitors by maintaining a friendly and informative environment

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google platforms among other data entry applications
  • Customer service experience and cheerful disposition preferred
  • Well organized and thorough with a close attention to detail and follow through
  • Individual should be detail-oriented, a self-starter, a problem solver, and can prioritize a variety of tasks
